Just look at the captured images, and do all yourself. The problem is that many do not even want to believe your eyes, do not want to believe the facts. So, I talked to one doctor who considers himself a professional in the diagnosis. He did not even look at the pictures that I showed him. That's what worries, to put it mildly...

Why do I need to produce new scanners in Russia? After MRI scanner screening already exist. Maybe we should think about buying, say, Chinese scanners or CT scanners were in use in other countries?

By and large, that's now coming in, but this does not solve the problem. If the scanners to Russia should be about 10-20 thousand, you can imagine how much budget money has to go abroad. Yes, and you find so many used scanners? And how much will it cost them support from foreign experts?

Russian serial production scanners in our country, and this is our main goal, would, among other things, to create thousands of new jobs in high technology. This is what we call our President and the Prime Minister. But without state support for one company or even a group of companies the task of this magnitude does not pull.

But you say that imaging can be a profitable business. In that case, why do you need the support of the state?

First, it should be noted that we are talking about a form of medical practice, which is very regulated, and therefore, the risks to the business is extremely high. Any clerk with high ambitions and unfulfilled desires can easily negate the most attractive business plan.

In addition, as you can build a business in the field that virtually all the state? Now on the taxes collected from us the power to buy foreign imagers, put them in some clinics and do not require repayment. In fact, it should be in the social sphere. But as businesses compete with the MRI? It would be like if the government gave to some restaurateur premises in the city center would make it his own expense repair, buy a hardware, paying salaries to employees and this would relieve a restaurateur from all financial obligations to return the money spent. Thus, it would remain only the most pleasant part - making a profit. Other restaurateurs - businessmen, who would make their institutions from scratch, would have been, obviously, to lose.

Finally, as one can speak about the production of CT scanners in the entire country, not counting on government support? After 10-20 thousand scanners - it is a social program for the entire country, which means that no state anywhere. Nevertheless, all must understand that we have already done all the most risky investments - on development of the magnetic scanner and brought it to clinical practice. The existence theorem is proved. Now only remains to carry out reproduction of the device to provide the Russians with the latest medical equipment.

All over the world seek to increase the magnetic field scanners. You're going to produce vehicles with the lowest field. And, as in the margins of power said one senior official, do scanners with small fields in Russia is not prestigious. Do not show whether we are so our backwardness in comparison with the West?

Our task - the creation of the Public MRI scanner. And it means - affordable scanner - available to most people in Russia. Cryogenic imagers can not be made available not only in Russia but also in the U.S.. Recently, the Federal Government of the United States has allocated funding to create a scanner without the use of cryogenic technology, citing the need to establish exactly affordable scanner.. The company General Electric assesses the market for such scanners in 10,000 pieces, and despite the fact that the U.S. is already installed over 10,000 scanners. So, we foresight global trend! Why do you want to produce MRI scanners in Russia may be easier to implement this idea abroad?

Margaret Thatcher once said: "The Russians should be reduced to 15 million people, serving well and mines." But do we really deserve only this? No! And the example of our project we want to prove it!
